Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a traditional ruler of the Mushere community in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, Joshua Mutkut.
According to The PUNCH, the monarch was abducted at his palace in the locality on Sunday night.
The Governor of the State, Caleb Mutfwang, confirmed the development on Monday while appearing on a programme organised to celebrate Democracy Day in the state.
However, the details of the traditional ruler’s abduction is yet to be made public.
