Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a father, and his son identified as Femi Ajayi of Baptist Grammar School in Isanlu-Isin town, Isin Local Government of Kwara State.
The Kwara State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the development in a statement.
It was learnt that the incident occurred at about 7 pm on Thursday.
The kidnappers allegedly damaged their vehicle and whisked away the duo to an unknown destination.
The PPRO said, “the police commissioner, Ebun Oluwarotimi Adelesi, has dispatched teams of policemen supported by hunters and vigilante to the town for possible search and rescue of the abductees, please.”
The police commissioner, in assumption of duty, had declared, in his maiden press briefing, that there will be no breathing space for criminals and cultists in the state anymore in the state.
