The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani has sent a delegation under the state deputy governor, Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, to Fadan Kamantan to commiserate the people over the unfortunate bandit attack on St. Raphael Parish, Fadan Kamantan, Zangon Kataf Local Government of the state.
The was disclosed in a statement issued by her media office on Saturday, saying the Deputy Governor first visited the Chief of Antang Chiefdom, HRH Adamu Alkali, in his palace before proceeding to St. Raphael Parish, Fadan Kamantan, Diocese of Kafancha.
While in the church, the statement said she was received by the Very Reverend Father Okolo Emmanuel, the Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan, who appreciated the Kaduna State Government for the visit.
“The Chancellor, who narrated the kidnapping attempt by the bandits and the arson that took place leading to the death of one seminarian, appreciated the good people of Fadan Kamantan for the love and solidarity they have shown to them, particularly from the Muslim community, which he said showed the unity that existed among the people, irrespective of their religious differences.
“The Deputy Governor condemned the attack and prayed for the repose of the lone soul lost in the attack.
She also urged the Chief of Antang and St. Raphael Parish to take solace in God.
