Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, attended a Thanksgiving service in Lagos State on Sunday to honor the memory of his late mother, Nnena Esther Adeleke.
The service was held at the Cherubim and Seraphim headquarters, with several notable figures in attendance.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Governor Adeleke reflected on the divine grace that has shaped his life and governorship, expressing his gratitude for his blessings.
“In memory of his late mother, Nnena Esther Adeleke, and appreciation of God’s blessings in his life, Governor Ademola Adeleke attended the long-awaited Thanksgiving service,” the statement read.
The late Nnena Adeleke held the title of Senior Mother-in-Israel at the church, a role now occupied by the Governor’s sister, Yeyeluwa Modupe Adeleke-Sanni.
During the service, Governor Adeleke acknowledged the numerous divine favors that have guided his journey and reaffirmed his commitment to worshipping God through all available platforms.
“I have always maintained my faith in God and will continue to use every platform to praise and worship the creator of heaven and earth,” Adeleke stated.
The event saw the presence of several high-profile attendees, including Adeleke’s brother, billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke; popular musician David Adeleke, also known as Davido; Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun; and Osun State Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi.
Governor Adeleke was joined by his sister, Yeyeluwa Adeleke; his wives, Titilayo and Ngozi Adeleke; his Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akinleye; media mogul Dele Momodu; and other prominent business and political figures.
