The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Gombe State Command, has arrested a 27-year-old suspect identified as Segun Badmus for allegedly burning four houses.
According to The PUNCH, State Commandant of the NSCDC, Muhammad Muazu, who confirmed the incident noted that the arrest followed a tip-off on the development and that the corps quickly intervened and arrested the suspect.
It was learnt that the incident happened on Wednesday in the Dele Jesu community of Balanga Local Government Area of the state.
He explained tthat the act caused damage and left families homeless.
Muazu said, “The reason for the act was said to be a result of a little misunderstanding between the culprit and a kid brother to the victim.
“The suspect was apprehended and brought to the office in Cham, while the investigation is still ongoing.
“As soon as the investigation is completed, the suspected will be taken to court to face the wrath of the law.”
