The Director of Legal Services of the National Youth Service Corps, Barrister Tijani Ibrahim, has admonished the 2023 Batch B, Stream 1 corps members undergoing orientation exercise at Wannune camp to know that their posting was predestined by God.
Ibrahim made this call while speaking with corps members at NYSC Camp Multipurpose Hall, Wannune, in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State.
He said, “Every human being has been channeled by God to follow a part in life, and it will be wrong to cut it.”
The NYSC’s Director of Legal Service urged the corps members to respect all camp officials and their employees as well as host communities.
While inspiring them to read and digest all the NYSC documents, particularly bye-law to understand the operations of the scheme and to observe camp rules and regulations, Ibrahim said,, ‘Reading makes a good English speaker.’
He also appreciated the State Coordinator of NYSC, Mr.Abe Dankaro-Ashumate, and camp officials for their commitment and dedication to the camp assignment, enjoining them to do everything in spirit of love for one another; between Camp Officials and Corps Members.
The State Coordinator of NYSC Benue, Mr.Abe Dankaro-Ashumate, had earlier expressed gratitude to Benue State Government for building a benefiting multi-purpose hall for the scheme despite its lean resources.
The high point of the visit was a Tiv cultural presentation by the corps members on camp.
