Four people have been reported dead in an autocrash along Abeokuta-Siun-Sagamu Road, Ogun State.
According to Daily Post, the incident was said to have occurred at Adedero in front of Adaranijo Filling Station, along the highway on Thursday.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, the said vehicles were travelling inbound Abeokuta.
According to him, the cement truck marked WDL418XA, was emitting fumes and had no visible rear lights.
He said that the emission caused the speeding Sienna bus driver’s vision to become blurry, causing him to unintentionally ram into the truck.
“One of the passengers who did not die immediately after the accident was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, where he gave up the ghost,” Akinbiyi said, adding that the remains of the deceased were deposited at the State Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta.
