The Popular Bodija market in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, went up in flames on Monday morning.
According to Vanguard, one of the affected traders, Romoke Jelili, said she lost more than N5 million to the inferno.
Bodija is a popular open-air market located in Bodija, Ibadan North, Oyo State, South-West Nigeria
It is one of the biggest markets in Nigeria, located on the Ibadan-Ife Expressroad, a mile away from the Ibadan Airport. It is about a kilometre from the Lagos–Ibadan Express road; this gives it easy accessibility.
