A fire outbreak has occurred at the Ogbo-Osisi Plank Section of the Bridge Head Market in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State.
According to The PUNCH, the cause of the fire could not immediately be ascertained, but it was gathered that it emanated from the Port Harcourt Road section of the plank market opposite Zenith Bank on Thursday night.
Efforts to reach the Anambra State Fire Chief, Martin Agbili, proved abortive.
Agbili was among the individuals recently appointed as permanent secretaries by the state governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
