A fire has reportedly broken out at the Dangote Refinery in Lagos, according to a video shared on social media on Wednesday afternoon.
The 19-second clip showed the refinery engulfed in flames, with workers gathered outside the affected section.
Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties, although the extent of the damage remains unclear.
Emergency responders, including the Lagos State Fire Service, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, and the Nigeria Police, were notably absent from the scene in the video.
As of the time of this report, none of these agencies have issued a response or statement regarding the incident.
