The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, expressed his commitment to positioning the country as a maritime powerhouse by ensuring the completion of pivotal projects within the ministry.
Speaking at an event in Lagos on Thursday, he urged heads of agencies under the ministry to diligently pursue their set objectives.
This information was conveyed in a statement signed by the ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Olujimi Oyetomi.
The event, spanning three days, aimed to foster collective dedication to achieving the sector’s goals by passing down the performance bond to the ministry’s directors and heads of agencies.
A significant highlight was the signing ceremony, initiated by Bashir Jamoh, Director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, followed by heads of other agencies.
- “The execution of the performance bond, and completion of key projects within the ministry, would no doubt position Nigeria as one of the maritime nations in the world,” the minister said.
