A total of 18 top directors within the Federal Civil Service have progressed to the next stage of the permanent secretary recruitment process after undergoing an ICT assessment.
Unfortunately, directors from Bauchi and Ebonyi states did not make the cut after failing the assessment.
According to The PUNCH, the shortlisted 18 candidates have been invited to the oral interviews as part of the selection process.
“The under-listed 18 candidates are invited to the oral interview stage of the process for the appointment of Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service following their successful performance in Stages 1 and 2 of the exercise,” a memo by the OHCASF.
It was gathered that only 20 directors passed the exam and were invited for the next stage, which was the ICT proficiency stage.
According to a memo dated November 7, 2023, and obtained from the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, the 61 directors who failed the examination scored below 50 percent, which disqualified them from the race.
