Everton Midfielder, Alex Iwobi, was on Friday stretched off during an FA cup game between Everton and Manchester United.
The Nigerian international appeared to have damaged his ankle after an horror tackle from Manchester United defender, Tyrell Malacia.
A visibly distraught Iwobi was seen on the ground as the Toffees skipper Seamus Coleman, immediately called for doctors to tend to the midfielder.
After being treated to on the field, Iwobi was taken off by stretcher.
Iwobi has started all 18 of Everton’s Premier League games this season.
Manchester United went on to win the game two goals to one to advance to the nest stage of the competition.
