Former Flying Eagles midfielder, Tom Dele-Bashiru, is on the verge of extending his contract with Sky Bet Championship club, Watford.
Sky Sports reports that Dele-Bashiru and Watford are currently engaged in discussions over a new deal, with the Nigerian midfielder expected to sign a three-year contract.
Dele-Bashiru joined Watford from Manchester City in 2019.
Last season, he had an impressive run with the Hornets, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
His previous season, however, was hampered by a ligament injury, limiting him to just six appearances.
During the 2021/22 season, he was loaned to Reading, where he scored four goals and added three assists.
Internationally, Dele-Bashiru has represented Nigeria at both the U-20 and U-23 levels.
