Following Arsenal’s late minute win over Bournemouth, match commentators, Richard Keys and Andy Gray, have questioned match referee of influencing the game to the Gunner’s advantage.
The Mikel Arteta side left it late to win the game as a Reiss Nelson goal in the 97th minute of the game gave Arsenal the late win at the Emirate Stadium.
The Gunners had fell two goals to nil before orchestrating a late comeback to win the game in front of their home side.
Goals from Thomas Partey and Ben White started the Gunner’s fight for redemption before the dying minutes goal by Nelson.
Reacting to the goal, match commentators questioned why the referee had allowed the game to enter the 97 minute after initially giving a six minute additional time.
Keys asked, “I would ask about the time of the goal as 97 minutes had been played. I think Bournemouth will have reason to think, ‘where did you find that time?’ The referee will have a reason.”
Andy Gray added, “There were six minutes added on, you can see that in the top corner, and we were just approaching the 98th minute when Reiss Nelson scored.”
