Head coach of the England women national team, Sarina Wiegman, has named “For my Hand”, by Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy as her most played song.
The coach, known for her dedication to football discussions, found herself engaged in an unusual topic—her Spotify Wrapped playlist.
When queried by a reporter about her Spotify Wrapped, a feature showcasing a user’s most-listened-to songs of the year, Wiegman seemed momentarily taken aback by the diversion from the customary football-related inquiries.
“I didn’t expect this so I don’t know the name of the song,” said a surprised Wiegman when asked which song topped her Spotify Wrapped playlist.
“But it is the song with Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran. I definitely played that song the most.” Who would have thought the Lionesses boss was a big Burna fan?
“For My Hand” is the second single and the 13th song from Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy’s sixth studio album: “Love, Damini”.
It was released in July 2022 via Atlantic Records, the afrobeats song featured English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, making this the artists second collaboration together.
