A truck driver identified as Francis Oluwaseun, has expressed his desire to vote after he was left stranded in a road block in Sagamu, Ogun State which was caused by the restriction of vehicular movement.
Recall that the inspector general of police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR, on Thursday ordered a vehicular restrictions because of the conduct of the governorship and house of assembly election.
The driver in an interview with newsmen, stated that the road was blocked since two o’clock on Saturday which prevented him from making it in time to his destination to vote.
He also revealed that he was coming from Kano State and was never aware that there was a restriction order on vehicular movement.
“We have been here since two o’clock, and it would be good if they allow us to pass because there is nothing to eat here.
“We also have families at home and I want to vote, I have my PVC here”, he added.
