The Ekiti Sate Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of a middle aged man identified as Tunde Akindunbi.
According to Daily Post, Akindunbi’s remains was found under a mango tree in Dallimore area of Ado Ekiti.
While it was speculated that the incident happened over night, the cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
Also, findings also revealed that his neighbors stated that he was last seen around 8pm on Friday.
According neighbours, the deceased was found in a position that suggests he committed suicide but it was said that others claimed the position was suspicious.
It was alleged that he might have been killed and hung to avoid being traced.
Confirming, the spokesman for Ekiti State Police Command, DSP Sunday Abutu said they have begun an investigation into the matter.
Speaking further, he affirmed that two persons have been invited for interrogation to help the command unravel the incident.
