The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abuja Zonal Command has arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters.
The commission it’s official Twitter handle said the suspects were arrested following credible intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.
The suspects, include Peter Omega Awupri, Philip Okonkwo, Emeka Okonkwo and Williams Chukwu. Others include Stephen Anthony, Edobor Osas, and Adetola Sunday,
It added that eight phones, four laptops, three international passports, a smartwatch, a Lexus, and Toyota cars were recovered from the suspects
“The suspects, are Peter Omega Awupri, Philip Okonkwo, Emeka Okonkwo and Williams Chukwu. Others include Stephen Anthony, Edobor Osas, and Adetola Sunday, who were arrested in Gwarimpa, Abuja following credible intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.
“Eight phones, four laptops, three international passports, a smartwatch, a Lexus, and Toyota cars were seized from the suspects.
“The suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigations are concluded.” the statement added.
