South American Country, Ecuador, on Sunday defeated the host nation of the 2022 World Cup, Qatar.
The middle east nation lost the first game of the tournament which was played at the Asian Town Cricket Stadium, Qatar.
The first goal of the game was scored by Enner Valencia in the 16th minute after his first goal in the 3rd minute was initially declared offside.
The score line was doubled by Valencia in the 31st minute after he was assisted by Angelo Preciado.
The game ended two goals to nil in favor of Ecuador.
The victory puts Ecuador at the top of the group A.
