The South-East security outfit Ebubeagu in Ebonyi State, has been disbanded by a Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki on Tuesday.
The court ruled that the security group had to be disbanded because of their human rights violations, extortion tactics, illegal arrests, and weapon use.
The security outfit was inaugurated by the Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, on the 22nd of December, 2021.
