Two Nigerians have been reportedly arrested in India for drug trafficking.
According to Indian news outlet, The Hindu, the duo were arrested by the narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch on Thursday.
It was also reported that drugs worth ₹25 lakh which they were allegedly peddling in the city were recovered from them.
According to authorities, the accused have been renting a home in Bagalagunte for the past six years while selling drugs to college students, workers at private companies, and small-time entrepreneurs.
They also said that the accused came to the city on a student visa six years ago and then left, but returned on a business visa and overstayed to peddle drugs.
