Delta security operatives intercept oil-theft syndicates
The Nigeria security operatives have intercepted an oil theft syndicate in the Oporoza area of Delta state.
Arise Television made this disclosure on Monday.
Details of the oil racketeers and their arrest have not been provided as the time of filing this report.
The former militant leader Asari Dokubo had in June alleged that 99 per cent of the oil theft in the Niger Delta region carried out by the Nigerian Army and Navy.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army and Navy denied Dokubo’s claim as oil theft continues to occur in the region, asking him to to provide evidence to corroborate his claims.
