Nigerian comedian, Bovi, has confirmed that the old photo of his colleagues Basketmouth and AY that was posted on social media was taken in 2004.
Following AY’s confession that his quarrel with Basketmouth started over a sum of N30,000 not paid to him, Basketmouth recently admitted to media personality Nedu Wazobia in an interview that he and AY were never friends and as a result, have no photos together.
However, social media users dug up an old photo of the comedians to prove him wrong.
On Tuesday evening, Bovi re-posted the image on his Instagram page, stating that it was taken in 2004.
In his words, “This is Basketmouth and a fan! 😎 2004! 😃😃😃! Ay no vex o! Before you go call Chude for me!”
