Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze, dazzled as Lorenzo Colombo scored twice in the first half, and Marco Nasti delivered the winning goal, leading AC Milan to a 3-2 triumph over Manchester City, the English Premier League champion, in a match held in New York on Saturday.
Nasti secured Milan’s lead in the 78th minute.
The 20-year-old Italian striker received a centering pass from Belgian right winger Alexis Saelemaekers and struck a precise inside right foot shot into the net.
Norwegian forward Erling Haaland initiated the scoring for Manchester City in the 19th minute, but AC Milan’s Italian striker Colombo responded with goals in the 30th and 34th minutes, giving the Italian team a 2-1 advantage at half-time at Yankee Stadium.
Manchester City equalized in the 55th minute when Manchester-born winger Micah Hamilton sent a cross from the left side into the box.
English forward James McAtee headed it into the net, setting the stage for Nasti’s decisive goal.
