Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has hailed five team mates for the club’s recent form which saw them won the Carabao cup.
The Brazilian player was on the score sheet as his side defeated Newcastle to win the Carabao at the Wembley stadium over the weekend.
The former Real Madrid player cited Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, Raphael Varane, Bruno Fernandes, and Fred as key factors in United’s victory in an interview with United Review.
The footballers, he said, are “high grade” and “world-class” players.
“Every team has its own way of playing. It is true here I have a greater role in the attack
“I will say it again; it is impossible to do it on your own. There’s the quality of my teammates.
“There’s Licha (Lisandro Martinez) and Varane – high-quality players.
“Christian, who I played alongside for a long time, is another exceptional player. Fredinho (Fred) is another excellent player, then there is Bruno, who plays a bit further forward, a world-class player,” he said.
