Spanish striker José Luis Mato Sanmartín, known as Joselu, has fired Real Madrid to their 18th UEFA Champions League final after a dramatic semifinal second leg against Bayern Munich.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men pulled a stunning comeback at the death to eliminate Thomas Tuchel’s team 4-3 on aggregate.
Madrid target Alphonso Davies put the visitor ahead in the second half but an unlikely error from Manuel Neuer allowed Joselu tap in an equaliser late in the game before scoring the winner in quick succession to seal a 2-1 for the hosts at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
Madrid will face another German club Borussia Dortmund at the Wembley Stadium in London on June 1st.
