The Director General of Nigeria’s National Intelligence Agency Ahmed Rufai Abubakar has resigned from his position.
According to Channels, the reasons behind his resignation have not yet been disclosed.
Abubakar has been at the helm of the NIA, Nigeria’s primary intelligence-gathering agency, since January 2018. Appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari, he has overseen several key intelligence operations both domestically and internationally.
