Bowen University has named popular comic skit maker, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori better known as Kiekie as the school’s brand ambassador.
The private-owned Baptist Christian university located in Iwo, Osun State, made the announcement via its social media handle stating the comedienne’s “achievement within the Nigeria entertainment industry made her a perfect fit”.
Bowen lauded Kiekie’s excellence and core values which it said aligned with the school’s.
The varsity wrote, “A week ago, we name Kiekie our brand ambassador. Her achievements within the Nigerian Entertainment Industry made her a perfect fit to carry our brand.
“In line with our core values, she has shown excellence, as well as Entrepreneurship in media and Innovation in her sector by being original with her content.
“She has now committed to a Social responsibility of giving back to her Alma Mata – Bowen University in ways that will promote excellence and guidance to the coming generation.
“We are very much excited about this new partnership and we look forward to a bright future. Together we’re stronger.”
