The bodies of a Lagos businessman, Lawrence Olorungbon, his wife, and their three children have been discovered in their Apapa residence.
Olorungbon had been unreachable on his mobile line since last Wednesday, according to his secretary, Njoku Treasure.
Vanguard reported that Treasure decided to visit his home in Apapa after failing to contact him the next day, but discovered the front door locked.
However, she was said to have perceived a bad smell and flies buzzing around, prompting her to alert the Apapa division of the police.
The cops went to the scene and forced open the door to see the bodies in a state of decay.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of death is yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, detectives from the State Criminal Inquiry Department, Yaba, have commenced their investigation into the terrible tragedy to determine the cause of their deaths.
