Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Phyna, has responded to the recent social media backlash she faced after posting vacation pictures from The Maldives.
According to The PUNCH, Phyna maintained that she was prepared for any criticism that came her way, stating that she had done nothing wrong.
Phyna clarified that her previous comments about not supporting the “Get Ready With Me” trend were misconstrued, and that she only opposed the idea of setting up a camera and ring light to record oneself getting ready.
She expressed amusement at the negative reactions, saying, “I love their tears. They should bring it on.”
The reality TV star also addressed the attention she receives from men, revealing that some had offered her lavish dates and intimacy, but she had politely declined.
Phyna attributed their behavior to being accustomed to women who accept such treatment, but emphasized that she was a strong, hardworking woman who valued her independence.
In addition to her reality TV career, Phyna has also pursued acting and producing, which she described as a dream come true. She credited her multitalented nature for making it easy to balance both roles.
Regarding her prize money from the BBNaija organizers, Phyna reported that efforts to collect the remaining amount were “65 per cent progressive.” Despite the controversy surrounding her, Phyna remains confident and unapologetic, embracing the criticism and focusing on her future endeavors.
