Bayern Munich head coach, Thomas Tuchel, has vowed to beat Real Madrid in the second leg tonight to reach the UEFA Champions League’s final.
Speaking with TribalFoitball ahead of the clash, he told his players to remain focused on the semi-final against the Spanish giants in the UEFA Champions League.
Bayern Munich is in Madrid for the second leg of their Champions League semifinal with the score tied at 2-2.
Tuchel, stated that his team is prepared for the clash against Real Madrid.
“We have to play the game, focused on it. We talk about the content, not the myth that Madrid is, so as not to complicate it even more.
“We played better in the first leg but we didn’t win. Real Madrid still has 51% in favour of playing at home, but I can’t explain the myth of Madrid. Sometimes I have met Butragueño, and years ago when there was no internet Butragueño always appeared in the books, and he was in all the finals, and I wanted to watch his games.
“And now that image always comes to mind, that shirt. It is one of the most important clubs but so are we. It is a gift and an obligation. We do not play to enjoy ourselves, but to take the next step, which is to reach the final,” Tuchel said.
