An Enugu man Tochukwu Onah, has reportedly died while attempting to vandalize a community transformer.
According to The PUNCH, the deceased, also known as Toshiba, was a barber and native of Ede-Oballa in Enugu State’s Nsukka Local Government Area.
The Head of Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr Emeka Ezeh, in a statement on Sunday, said the incident happened on Saturday.
According to Ezeh, Onah may have been electrocuted while attempting to vandalize the transformer, which had had some of its lines damaged.
He continued by stating that the business had multiple vandalism incidents that had a detrimental effect on both its revenue and the caliber of its customer care.
