Two residents of Gidan Busa in Doka ward of Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State were killed by suspected bandits on Friday night.
Sixteen people were also abducted.
According to The PUNCH, sources in the community said five people sustained gunshot wounds and are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed medical facility in the area.
He said in the resident of one Alhaji Hassan, no fewer than eight people were abducted with two persons killed and others sustained gunshot wounds.
He said, “Yesterday night (Friday) bandits came to Gidan Busa and abducted 16 residents of the area, killing two while five sustained gunshot injury and currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
“In the resident of one Alhaji Hassan, the bandits abducted 8 persons including his wife and children and killed one of his boys and female. The incident occurred at about 11.30pm. Those that sustained gunshot wounds are receiving treatment in the hospital.”
There was no official confirmation from either the state government or the state police command.
