A renowned Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe who goes by the stage name, Ayra Starr has named her fashion influencers to include her mum, aunt as well as Rihana.
She made the revelation in a recent interview with Kiss FM, London, United Kingdom.
The singer, on how she got her dress sense said, “it’s everywhere. You know, people inspire me. Everybody inspires me. All the baddies on the gram. All the sabi girls. Everybody; my mum, my aunty, Rihanna.”
She also hinted that she had the desire to make a wave in the fashion industry before diverting into music.
She said, “definitely, I was gonna do fashion before I was gonna do music,” adding that she is the “president of miniskirts and co.”
However, the 24-year-old singer said she has always known right from when she was five-year-old that she was going to become a global pop star, adding that she is looking forward to collaborating with artists like Burna Boy and Rihana in the future.
