Raphinha gave Barcelona the lead in the 34th minute after his free kick was deflected by Trossard.
Trossard would later make amends by hitting a brace consecutively in the 55th and 79th minutes to put the game at 4-2.
Ferran Torres scored in the 88th minutes to give Barcelona their third goal of the game, a late surge by the Spanish side to find the equalizing goal was dashed by Fabio Veira in the 89th minute who scored a volley to give the English Premier League side the victory at the SoFi stadium.
