Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a commanding 3-0 victory over Bournemouth.
The Gunners dominated the first half and took the lead through Bukayo Saka’s penalty just before halftime, after Kai Havertz was brought down by Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers.
In the second half, Leandro Trossard doubled Arsenal’s lead with a well-placed shot from inside the area, set up by Declan Rice. Rice then added a third in added time to seal the win.
Despite Bournemouth showing more attacking intent in the second half, they were unable to break down Arsenal’s defense. Dominic Solanke had a chance saved by David Raya, and Justin Kluivert fired a shot wide.
Bournemouth thought they had pulled a goal back through Antoine Semenyo, but it was ruled out for a foul on Raya by Solanke in the build-up.
The victory was Arsenal’s fourth consecutive win, keeping the pressure on title rivals Manchester City.
During the match, Arsenal and their fans paid tribute to 14-year-old supporter Daniel Anjorin, who was tragically killed in a sword attack earlier in the week.
