Egyptian side, Al Ahly have qualified for their fourth consecutive CAF Champions League championship match.
They defeated Esperance of Tunisia 1-0 in Cairo on Friday night to advance 4-0 on aggregate.
Hussein Elshahat scored the lone goal for the Egyptian Red Devils in the first half, securing their victory and advancing them to their sixth final in seven years.
After a cautious start, Ahly broke the impasse after 21 minutes, with Percy Tao, the South African wizard, once again providing the key assist.
The Red Devils will now wait for the winner of Saturday’s Pretoria match between holders Wydad Athletic Club and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.
They lost the championship to Wydad in the previous season.
