The Special Adviser on union matters to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Mr. Dare Aragbaiye has resigned his appointment following the Governor’s demise on Wednesday.
A letter signed by Mr Mr Aragbaiye and sighted in Akure, Ondo state capital indicated that Mr Aragbaiye resigned his appointment effective from Wednesday, 27th of December 2023.
Mr Aragbaiye until his resignation was the special adviser to Akeredolu on union matters and special duties.
The letter reads in part, “I write to refer to the subject above and to resign my appointment as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Union Matters and Special Duties with effect from today. Wednesday, 27,E December, 2023.”
Aragbaiye said his resignation follows the death of his principal whom his loyal to until his death.
“My decision to resign is based on the unfortunate death of my PIi icipal, a tearless and honest leader, Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, sAN.corq whom I am loyal to even in death.
“I sincerely thank his excellency for the opportunity granted me to serve in his administration as a member of the State Executive Council. first as a Head of Service and now, Special Adviser.
“Please accept the assurances of my esteemed regards.”
