The late governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has been laid to rest in his hometown Owo, in Owo Local Government Area of the State.
Akeredolu was buried on Friday after an interment service at the St. Andrews Anglican diocese, Imola Owo.
The funeral ceremony was attended by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, Senators, Southwest governors, Members of the Nigeria Bar Association among others.
He died of Prostate cancer at age 67 in a German hospital in December 27, 2023.
