The Akwa Ibom State governor, Udom Emmanuel, has commissioned the remodeled Uyo Township stadium in the state.
The remodeled sporting facility which is located in Uyo has an Olympic size swimming pool, indoor sports hall plus astro turf playing field.
With the commissioning of the remodeled sporting facility, the state now houses three standard stadium.
Recall that the Akwa Ibom govt commissioned the Nest of Champions stadium in 2013 while the Eket Stadium was opened for use in 2022.
