The Adamawa State Police Command on Monday charged one hundred and ten suspects in connection to looting of public/private warehouses.
This was revealed on the official Twitter handle of the command.
The Punch Metro had published that Governor Ahmadu Fintiri imposed a 24-hour curfew on Adamawa State after the escalating attacks of hoodlums breaking into warehouses and carting away foodstuffs and other valuables.
Fintiri on his verified Twitter handle said the government took the action as a precaution to prevent the escalating violence by hoodlums attacking people and businesses.
However, the 24-hour curfew was relaxed on Monday.
Deputy state governor Kaleptapwa Farauta said the curfew would now run from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until further review to allow citizens and businesses to go about their business.
