Nollywood actress Lola Fany has responded to allegations that she had an affair with comedian Oluwadolarz, firmly dismissing the claims as false and baseless.
In a statement shared on her social media page, Fany clarified the circumstances surrounding an incident that led to speculations about her being caught in a bathroom.
According to the actress, she had just completed shooting content near Oluwadolarz’s studio and needed to clean up.
She explained that she was granted access to his younger sister’s bathroom to change but was later accused of inappropriate behavior.
“The bathroom she’s claiming she ‘caught me in’ was his younger sister’s bathroom where I was dressing up,” Fany stated. “I don’t know why she conveniently forgot to add this detail.”
She further addressed accusations of having multiple abortions, calling them an attempt to garner sympathy through false narratives.
“Accusing me of sleeping with your fiancé is one thing, but lying about multiple abortions just to evoke sympathy is another ball game entirely! That’s extremely petty,” she added.
Fany emphasized that her success in the film industry is built on her talent, rejecting any insinuations that she engages in inappropriate conduct to secure roles.
“I like to think I’m a very great actress (if I do say so myself), so I don’t have to sleep around for roles. My talent literally speaks for itself,” she said.
Expressing disappointment over the public nature of the allegations, the actress urged those involved to resolve their relationship issues privately rather than dragging her into the controversy.
“If you choose to air your family’s dirty laundry on the internet, that’s absolutely fine, but please don’t project your insecurities on me and drag me into this mess,” she stated.
