Two people identified as Mr. Nicholas Nwuju of 47 Imo lane, Umuahia and Mr. Chinwuba Enwereji of Umuekpo have been declared missing by Abia State State Police Command
According to a statement signed by ASP Maureen Chioma Chinaka,
This was made known in a statement signed by the State Command Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chioma Chinaka, noting that Mr. Nicholas Nwuju was last seen on August 18th of this year, adding that despite efforts by his relatives to locate him, he remains unaccounted for.
The Police further stated that Mr. Chinwuba Enwereji, 28 years old, left home on his motorcycle and has not been seen since.
The statement enjoined the general public to report any information on the whereabouts of these missing individuals to the nearest police stations or the office of the Police Public Relations Officer at Bende road, Umuahia.
Also, two other individuals, Mr. Chukwuebuka Abel and Miss Chikaodi James, have been declared missing by the police.
Chukwuebuka Abel, a 28-year-old resident of Orie Ugba market in Umuahia, left home on August 2nd and has not returned. Miss Chikaodi James, 16 years old and residing at No.57 Aguiyi Ironsi street, Umuahia, left home on August 6th to an unknown destination and has not been seen since.
The increasing reports of missing persons and car theft have raised concerns among the residents of the state, particularly in Umuahia and Aba.
