The Abia State Police Command has declared a 13-year-old girl, identified as Rejoice Ezeocha, missing.
According to a press release from the Abia Police Command, the missing girl is a native of Ofeke, Azueke Ndume Ibeku, Umuahia North, but a resident of Lodu Ndume, Ibeku, also in the State’s Umuahia North LGA.
The statement, which was issued by State Police Public Relations Officer Maureen Chinaka,also stated that Rejoice departed their home on July 18, 2023, for an unknown place.
She continued by saying that her family’s attempts to find her had been fruitless.
She claims that 13-year-old Rejoice can speak English effectively, has a dark complexion, and shows no signs of tribal markings.
Anyone with information on Rejoice’s location was urged to contact Prince Ezeocha of Ofeke, Azueke Ndume Ibeku, or the Office of the Police Public Relations Officer at the State Police Command in Umuahia.
