A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory sitting at Maitama, on Friday, remanded Ahmed Idris and two others in prison on 14 counts of stealing and criminal breach of trust.
According to TVC News, the trial Justice A.O. Adeyemi Ajayiadjourned the hearing for bail application till July 27.
The Economic Financial Crimes Commission had said it will arraign the former Accountant General of the Federation over alleged complicity in the illegal diversion of public funds to the tune of about N109.4 billion.
The anti-graft agency in a statement disclosed that the former AGF would be docked today.
