TikTok influencer and content creator, Habeeb Hazmat, also known as Peller, disclosed that his weekly earnings on TikTok range between ₦15 million and ₦20 million.
He clarified these details during an interview on Rubbin’ Minds, debunking rumours that he makes ₦200 million weekly.
In his words, Peller addressed the misconceptions, saying, “The talk about me earning ₦200 million is false. I didn’t join TikTok for money; my initial intention was simply to have fun and engage in activities like ‘tap-tap.’ Initially, making money on TikTok wasn’t even on my mind.”
Peller emphasized that adopting a strategic approach significantly contributed to his success on the platform.
“In life, having a strategy is essential. I realized that whenever I requested gifts, my viewership dropped. However, when I simply talk and engage without asking for anything, it seems my audience appreciates it more. Even those who claim I’m not funny continue watching when I’m just being myself. Now, I go live without asking for gifts. Interestingly, after each live session, which lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, I often receive between $2,000 to $3,000,” he explained.
Despite earning well from these live streams, Peller mentioned that he doesn’t broadcast daily.
“I don’t do live stream ever day. You don’t have to show your face every day. In a week, I can go like three times. In one live, I have made like $10,000 when I play big match. I was surprised because I was always making like $7,000,” he explained.
In TikTok’s revenue system, he explained, “For instance, if you earn $2,000 on TikTok, you might only be able to withdraw around $1,500 due to TikTok’s percentage deduction.”
