The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council, retaining only two members of the cabinet due to the critical nature of their roles.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Governor Aiyedatiwa exempted the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, from the dissolution.
“All affected cabinet members are directed to hand over government properties in their care to the accounting officers of their respective ministries,” the statement read.
The Governor expressed his appreciation for the contributions of the outgoing cabinet members, saying, “I thank the Executive Council members for their service and dedication to the development of Ondo State under my administration. I wish them success in their future endeavors.”
