In a move aimed at addressing transportation challenges in the country, the Federal Government has handed over 64 Compressed Natural Gas buses to representatives of labour unions and student organizations.
The distribution took place at the State House in Abuja.
The development was announced by Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant on Social Media to President Bola Tinubu, in a statement and accompanying video shared on X.com on Sunday.
“Earlier today, the Federal Government handed 64 100-capacity CNG buses to labour and student leaders at the State House, Abuja,” the statement read.
This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to provide affordable and eco-friendly transportation solutions amid rising fuel costs.
