The Owa-Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, a prominent first-class monarch in Osun State, has died.
According to The PUNCH, his passing was confirmed in a statement released by the Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Chief Yinka Fasuyi, on Thursday in Osogbo, the state capital.
Prior to the announcement, concerns had been raised regarding the monarch’s health, as he was reported to have been unwell.
In a heartfelt tribute, Fasuyi expressed the community’s sorrow, stating, “An Era Comes To An Abrupt End,” marking the end of Oba Aromolaran’s reign.
